Sopa de ajo

Ingredientes para 4 personas:

1 pan de 250 gr. de masa normal, que no sea de barra y que este algo duro, se compra un dia o dos antes.

6 dientes de ajo

100 gr de jamón serrano (se puede hacer sin jamón)

Aceite de oliva

1 ½ de agua

1 cucharadita de pimentón dulce.

1 huevo por comensal

Unas hojitas de hierbabuena

Elaboración:

Se parte el pan en rebanaditas pequeñas de ½ cm. Yo las pongo en una abndeja de horno y las tuesto un poco, pero se puede suprimir este paso y también sale una sopa muy buena.

Se pone en una olla un poquito aceite, que cubra suavemente la base, se fríen los ajos partidos por la mitad (asi al comer si no gustan se hayan bien), cuando empiezan a dorarse se añade el jamón en trocitos, se le da unas vueltas y se añade el pan, de nuevo se le da unas vueltas para rehogarlo un poco y se hace un poco de hueco para añadir el pimentón, se mueve todo bien con cuidado de que no se queme porque amarga y se añade el agua y sal al gusto.

Cuando comienza a hervir fuerte se baja al mínimo y se tiene tapado diez minutos y destapado medio destapado cinco mas, en ese punto se sube el fuego y se añaden los huevos, se tiene así unos tres minutos, el tiempo suficiente para que queden los huevos escalfados.

 Yo cuando corto el fuego le pongo una ramita de hierbabuena y en lo que reposa le da un sabor muy bueno, si no gusta, se la pone cada uno en su plato. Esta sopa es espesita, por lo que  cuando se van a poner los huevos si se ve que lo está demasiado se añade un poco de agua.
